This gorgeous couples session was at Denver Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. YES! You can do a photography session at this location, you will just need to do a little bit of research prior to the date. What do I mean by that? Don’t worry, I will explain everything!

This beautiful couple wanted to have their engagement session at the very spot where he had proposed to her, and nonetheless, it was Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. Talk about an awesome proposal! We did the session exactly 1 year after he proposed and they had a courthouse wedding on the same day! I can’t believe how perfectly planned everything was, it was such a great time I spent with them!

Red Rocks is well known and huge in size, it is home to the most fun concerts in the area. For its size, it is pretty organized and easy to get around, if you have a session at this location on a weekend during the warm months, you will most likely encounter some traffic around the area so plan to leave earlier than usual. Why is that? Well, concerts! The roads get closed, the traffic can only go up one way and you might be caught behind a long line not knowing what is happening trying to get up there. Make sure to ask for instructions whenever you see a park ranger, they are very helpful at giving you directions depending on where you’re trying to get.
